Tweet: #SofitelTweetup at @SofitelChicago

Thanks to the Sofitel Chicago for hosting social Chicagoans at Le Bar, Chicago magazine’s “100 Best Chicago Bars.”

Remember to “like” Sofitel Chicago on Facebook. Tweeps that “like” Sofitel Chicago and tweet photos of Le Bar along with hashtag will be entered in a raffle for an overnight stay and breakfast for two at the Sofitel Chicago Water Tower.

Do you tweet? Have you been to a tweetup? This week I attended a tweetup in Chicago #rooftweetup and met some new and interesting people. I also bumped into people that I know from around town. It was actually one of my first tweetups I’ve been to that I haven’t personally organized. She Fancies attending one of Sami Ari’s events. A few things that made this tweetup worthwhile included: an easy registration process, a photographer on-site capturing the night, a designated space at the restaurant/bar for people to convene, an easy to remember #hashtag, an amazing scene (looking out above the city), and a central location close to various types of transportation.
